They introduced me to 'Meal or no meal' and 'The impossible quiz' (I just clicked the answers for them, had no idea how they came to the answer!)...the things kids do when they are bored :P

Don't think that many of them will stay...and probably won't stay in the same class so didn't exactly take the time to learn all their names...sigh, quite bad, but wasn't sure it'll be worth the effort

Another advertisement...If you go on our NY website, you'll see a banner for a new talent show "Nanyang's Got Talent". This is meant to replace Synergy and we are looking for assorted talents, not just singers like 'The One'. So if you know any juniors who can do street dance or magic tricks, encourage them to sign up ok. Or let me know and I'll go suss them out! 'Cos a little difficult to find participants.... Don't ask me why I'm involved in these things...

Results!

Yayy! O-level results coming out on Thurs...that means 2 free days for me!! If only results would come out on Wed...then I won't have to lecture...oh well, have to find some way to entertain nervous kids tomorrow...

Just to clarify...it is quite unlikely that the A-level results will come out so soon, 'cos universities only start in August, so don't expect your results to come out next week. It should come out after CNY, so make sure you enjoy your CNY!

Some blatant advertising here...if any of you know any JC1s who are entering the school and who were in the band, pls encourage them to join the band. If any of them wants to appeal to the school through the band, they can look for me :P

busy, busy, busy...

*grumble, grumble* how can one be so busy doing so many things even though she has not really started on what is considered to be the most important aspect of her job?
*sigh* bad start to the week with a confusing civics lesson and some other glitches, got slightly better with a pretty fun RP lecture and kept sane with daily makan sessions, back to a new low with the awareness that it's only week 2 and the work's just starting...
hate to admit this but am missing the familiar faces in class that usually make this job a lot easier...
here's hoping the next 2 weeks will be better....

No more holidays....

Sigh...
- no more sleeping in
- no more late night TV (bye-bye Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Amazing Race, Coffee Prince....)
- no more adventures (night cycling, ice-skating, midday shopping, watching plays & ballets, jaunts to our neighbouring country...hmm...sounds like I had a pretty gd holiday)

Trying to look forward to...
