If only we had such fun signs....

I love to take pictures of fun slogans and street signs...so here are some from the Big Apple...where anything goes!

And we thought our anti-smoking ads of lung cancer and bleeding brains were blatant! There are many huge boxes of Marlboro with these captions in the duty free shop at the Frankfurt airport

There are 1800 numbers for everything in New York! You can get anything from legal advice to abortion information just by dealing a number (ads found in their subway)
My favourite street signs! Especially the one on the idling law!

The Quiet Zone in Central Park was anything but...

Ha! How ironic! Anyway, the UN building was pretty cool...

Counting down...

have always thought i'm a realist...have come to realise that i'm still pretty much an idealist at heart...am easily frustrated because i can't understand and accept the fact that kids these days have changed, that we can't use the same methods to teach them anymore. am always amazed at how some teachers can stay in this for so long...to see how every generation is just getting so much more difficult to understand.

or maybe it's just a teenage thing...maybe we were all like this once...and probably they are the same the world over...not sure what i'm running into, probably from the frying pan into the fire...

sigh...am sounding like a confused teenager...quarter-life crisis (am probably past 'quarter-life' actually :P)
